How does it all work?
To make a piece of jewellery (equivalent to 1 ring or 2 earring studs) I require 5ml of expressed breastmilk. I call this your ‘liquid gold’ or ‘your inclusion’.
Once the inclusion is received I process it into a powdered form and then into a stone that is then handcrafted into your chosen piece of jewellery.
Can I deliver my inclusion to you if I live locally and pay in cash?
You are more than welcome to contact me and arrange a time and day to drop off your inclusion, however you must purchase the jewellery piece through my online store prior to the inclusion drop off. Unfortunately I cannot accept cash.
How do I send my breastmilk/ inclusion?
Please send your inclusion in a breastmilk storage bag or in a syringe.
Keep in mind that occasionally due to rough handling during the post, breastmilk that comes in a storage bag may spill or leak so it’s always better to put a little extra to account for this.
If you prefer to send the inclusion in a syringe, they can be purchased from your local pharmacy and often come with little caps which help secure the breastmilk.
How long will it take to get my keepsake made?
Due to the specifications in each piece, I do not keep a large amount of jewellery stock on hand. As soon as your keepsake order comes through, I will purchase the jewellery piece of your choice from my distributor. The pieces can take 6-8 weeks to receive (If there is going to be a delay for any reason you will be notified and kept up to date). While I am waiting for the jewellery piece, you can drop off or mail your breastmilk to me. Once your inclusion is received and the jewellery piece is ready, it takes me approximately 2 weeks to handcraft your personal timeless keepsake.
Will I know when you receive my breast milk?
Absolutely! You are kept up to date during the entire jewellery making process. You will receive a confirmation when your breastmilk is received, when your piece is being handcrafted and again with a tracking number when your personal timeless keepsake is on its way to you!
